Kobo

This is the third generation of Kobo's e-reader device.

I joined the Kobo UX team when the Kobo Touch was in mid production. For a 6 month period I worked closely with the Lead Architect and Engineers to get the eReader ready for store shelves. I learned to work in an agile environment and got used to daily scrums. I developed a new love for meticulous detail in high fidelity user interface design.

I was responsible for bringing wireframes to life and for producing production ready UI elements. I worked on the store interface,  icons, keyboard layouts, the First Time Experience user guide, and a Sudoku game interface (an Easter egg) to name a few memorable tasks.

Kobo is not just about their eReaders… they offer their reading app (and storefront) on a plethora of devices. A Kobo user has the ability to track their reading in a gamified fashion from any device they chose to read from – Android or iOS, for tablets and mobile devices.
